Beauty Of A Relationship
“I’ve been fighting to be who I am all my life. What’s the point of being who I am, if I can’t have the person who was worth all the fighting for?”
― Stephanie Lennox, I Don't Remember You
Each and every person who passes through our life plays some role, however small it is. A relationship need not always end in a bad way. What you carry away with you is all up to you.
Sometimes a mutual understanding can help things end in a beautiful way.
And in such a relationship you can always carry forward positive memories.
I share few positive impacts I had in my life from one such relationship.
- I learned how to respect a man.
- For a man, it’s not love that makes him fall for you. It’s the respect you show him. More than love, a man looks for respect from his woman.
- I realized that I can love a person with my full heart.
- He showed me my true self.
- First and may be last time I let myself become vulnerable.
- I learned how to express my feelings.
- It gave life to my long lost creative mind.
- I started loving myself more.
- I learned how to give the other person importance while conversing.
- I learned self care.
- I have lots of wisdom quotes from him while facing difficulties.
- I learned one important fact – Do not to look for answers. It will come to you at the right time.
- If he didn’t tell me something then sure it will be something unpleasant to hear. I can consider it in two ways. He is filling me with lies or He is trying to not hurt me. Its all about my perception.
- Too much anxiety can take away the fun.
- Don’t be afraid to voice your opinions in a respectful manner.
In brief, I became a better version of myself.
I am and I will always be grateful for this to him.
